Physical Security

It's an often missed point, but no matter what electronic security you install to keep your systems safe it can all be bypassed in an instant if someone sits at (or worse still steals) your server. Don't think simple passwords are always enough, they can be bypassed in many ways.

Keep your systems out of site, keep the room locked and control access. Do not store sensitive data on mobile PCs, nor leave backup tapes in vulnerable places.
