Everyone is good at something, but no-one is good at everything and liking the task in hand plays a key part. The trick is to realize what you’re good at, what you like and then do those things well. A happy and effective team of staff are a balance of these things with a good working environment. At Eclarity, we have a variety of staff with different skill sets. Every customer will have their favorite, but be rest assured that we always have someone who can deal with your problem. You may occasionally see us on site, sporting our Eclarity Tee’s. IT Geeks are special cases with special needs. We take them in, care for them and support with doses of strong coffee and T shirts. We do these things so that our customers do not have to, please be nice to our Geeks! We believe that knowing who you are talking to makes the relationship between IT Geek and customer stronger, and therefore more productive. Learn more about the team below.
Phil Gillam is our Company Director who set up the business in 2000. He has a back ground in engineering previously working in the automotive industry. Phil is well known to be a perfectionist keeping standards high.
Ruth Gillam, married to Phil, has kept the company paper work in check since 2003. It will be Ruth you speak to if there are any accounts queries. With the best voice in the office you will hear her if you are ever in our support line queue.
Nick Hyndman is our senior technician and has been with us since 2007. Nick is the nerdiest member of staff with an adept grasp of the way servers and systems work. Give him a technical problem and he will solve it.
Reuben Bayes joined the support team in 2009 as IT Technician. Probably the coolest member of the team who will diagnose your problem and talk you through to its resolution. Reuben loves dull days and hates wasps.
Dan Dugmore, IT Technician at eClarity since 2011, he now heads up the weekly team meetings. He is the sporty member of the office known to organise karting and footy events. Oh yes, and ask him about his limbo dancing!
Sam Thompson joined the support team as IT Technician in 2012. It is often Sam who will answer your support calls, a dedicated listener who will solve your problem. A true techy who loves his gadgets and games.
Matt Clinton is our Web Development Technician employed in 2014 specifically to strengthen the web dev aspect of our business. When he’s not playing on the MAC you may see him around and about Bromsgrove on his motorbike.
Damian Baginski joined the team in 2014. Impressing us on a work experience placement with us we were quick to employee him as our Apprentice. He now deals with your 1st line support queries whilst continuing his studies to gain the necessary CompTIA qualifications for the full IT Technician role here.
